My husband has had several affairs and we are currently taking EMSO. We are in week 5 and he still believes one of the consequences of his affairs is the loss of privacy. He says I've become a private eye, going through his phone among other things. I believe there is no place for privacy in a marriage except in the bathroom. I believe that privacy will begat secrets and isn't that what infidelity is, the keeping of secrets? He sees privacy as having things that are for him only, places I shouldn't venture. I told him he can have his thoughts, that's private. What do you think, Rick? What purpose does privacy serve in any marriage, especially one devastated by infidelity? We are 16 months out of D-day #1 and 8 months past D-day #2.
