Question:

My husband and I have been actively reconciling 20 months now since his 2 1/2 year affair. We are both in counseling and in marriage counseling with a Gottman level III trainer. We have read countless books and used your website. My husband has done pretty much everything that you would want a wayward spouse to do in reconciliation. I however still really struggle with intrusive thoughts in the bedroom. Cuddling kissing even touching some days makes me think about them together doing those same things. I’ve tried flipping the script I’ve tried thinking he’s doing this with me not her, nothing seems to work. My brain is tired and I know that this is hindering my ability to connect with him. I don’t know what else to do to make it stop.
