Question:

We are 13 months out from my wife's 2 year affair. Things really improving but I struggle with being able to enjoy the good moments of our marriage and family time. I try to stay in the moment but when I put my daughter to bed each night or see my son riding his scooter I get emotional (anger and disappointment) thinking about all that my wife risked to have a relationship with another man. All of the things I took for granted are now appreciated so much more but always seem to be followed by thoughts of what could have been or what may still be if our recovery isn't enough to hold our marriage together. How can I stop this negative thought pattern?
