Question:

I can't get my husband to share times he felt bad while cheating. He says generic answers like, “I felt bad the whole time”. How am I supposed to answer that? He thinks we shouldn't have to rehash something that has already been talked about but the thing is we never have. Maybe I'm not asking the right questions. What do I say so I can feel like I mattered to him? How do I get him to reveal his heart and tell me times he particularly felt guilty and what drew him back in? I feel like he is not sorry for what he has done. He makes me feel like he is being burdened having to endure me anytime I'm angry or want to talk. Maybe I'm not asking the right questions.
