My wife had a sexual affair in 1993 with her first affair partner, a second affair in 2007 with a different person, and a third affair with the first affair partner again in 2024 after he contacted her 31 years later. How will I ever feel safe with someone who has no control over themselves and runs on feelings and emotions regardless of outcome? There is no safety for me. I have lived this three times and will not blindly believe it will not happen again especially when its so incredibly easy for her to let someone in. Saying, I will not do it again is a worthless statement in my mind. She has no reason as to the WHY she did this three times other than she liked it or it felt good or I liked the attention etc. All selfish likes.
