Question:

We just returned from the EMS Weekend. We are separated. I asked my spouse to give me the 40 costs about what his infidelity has done to me so I could read them, take them in, and comment on some or all of them, periodically as a way to communicate about something and connect. He refused to give them to me, then said he would have to think about it and that he already read them to me. His current stance on them is "I am processing it" I had told him that I had waited a lifetime to hear those words and wanted to take those words in and was I a fool for believing those words were for me. I don't know how to interpret this and is it not mine to ask for? I don't want to aggravate a situation or ignore my feelings about a situation, which is what I have been basically trained to do and I don't like it.

Thank you. That was helpful and that was my motive. It seems his motive is not to have anything in writing that states he is/was, still is unfaithful. Not me. I will ask again.

What type of affair was it?
