Question:

Last night I was grieving and my husband was comforting me. He is the one responsible for my grieving. He shattered my life and caused all my pain. He is my abuser and when he comforts me I have this feeling that it is just wrong for me to lean in and accept his support. I feel ashamed of myself for accepting his comforting, embarrassed, desperate for love, pathetic. How do I overcome this?
