Question:

My husband is the betrayed spouse. He discovered the affair by my text messages and emails 5 months ago on his own. He went to therapy for 2 months and quit. We are enrolled in EMS Online. He will not commit to the program, and continues to be so angry, so hurtful and react to my affair with no regard for any of the work. He did not attend week 2 because it was too difficult for him to deal with and refused to do any of the homework. Should I continue in the program on my own? All he wants to do is go out and drink on his time off from work. He wants to get a divorce now and not wait for the program to be completed. We have been married 21 years and have an elementary age son. I want to heal and I want him to heal but I don’t know how if he won’t do the work.
