Question
I’ve been trying to cope with the hurt and betrayal, but see very little initiative from my spouse toward owning her recovery, or understanding where I’m at. Frequently i feel like she forgets or dismisses my pain, and acts as if this will all just blow over, and I can’t take much more. At what point do I focus on saving myself rather than the marriage? I should add that in the first 8 years of our marriage she did nothing but push me away, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, so I feel as if we don't even have anything to build on. I really don't think I want to be with her after 8 years of constant rejection. Is there even any hope left for us?
