Question:

My husband and his AP engaged in high risk sexual behaviors that put their lives, my life, and the AP's spouse's life at risk. The AP's spouse is unaware of the affair, and my understanding is that the AP is continuing those same high risk sexual behaviors with other individuals. Do my husband or I have an obligation to inform the AP's spouse (or have someone else inform him) about the affair and the potential risks that he is being exposed to by his spouse? This nags at me because I would want someone to tell me if my life was being put at risk without my knowledge, but I don't want to meddle or say something out of a subconscious need to exact revenge on the AP. I don't think that is my motivation but it is hard for me to be objective in this situation. I would like to put this recurring thought to rest and your advice would be helpful to that end.
