Question:

The affair is over, the affair partner is married and has chosen to stay in his mate, but my unfaithful spouse is very doubtful she wants to fix our marriage. She doesn’t want to get divorced but also doesn’t have a strong desire for me. It’s been over two months since D-Day so we are still in the early stages. I know she still has feelings for the affair partner as it was an emotional and physical affair. We have separated and she doesn’t wear her wedding ring. She doesn’t want to say she loves me but she is in weekly counseling and we are doing the AR Bootcamp with the possibility of EMSO. I would like to know your thoughts on ambivalence when the choice is either staying together or divorce when there is no longer a relationship with the affair partner.
