Question

We are 10 months out from D-day of my husband's emotional affair with a coworker that lasted almost a year. He still works with her and had other addictions that have now come to light. We've gone through the EMS Weekend and are now in a "Married for Life" group. Most of the women in our group, including myself, struggle daily, with constant triggers and heavy sadness. It's a rare day that isn't filled with some trigger. It feels like the grief of our spouses' actions will never leave us. Our spouses feel confused and frustrated that our progress is not faster and at times are at a loss for how to help us. We are following the lessons, and the triggers seem to come back for all of us. Can you help us, as the betrayed and our spouses, with signs that this process is working? And when do the triggers of this painful experience finally lose their grip?

What type of affair was it?
