Question:

My husband has a sexual addiction. He's slept with prostitutes for 7 of our 10 years of marriage. It was not easy for him to confess this to me so am proud of him for finally coming clean. This was our 2nd DDay. The first time he only revealed what he had been caught at and he promised to never do it again. I don't feel like I'll be able to move forward in the relationship if he doesn't get outside help because his promise to not do it again is meaningless and I don't feel safe. I believe he needs Counseling and a 12 step program. Do you believe these should be requirements for sexual addicts that are willing to "do anything to save the marriage"?
