Question:

I'm having a difficult time because my husband took a great job with a company where the affair partner works. We live in different states, and did when the affair was going on, but once a month he has to travel to the office where she is for several days. I have accompanied him twice, but the one time I didn't, several people met for dinner together and she was one of them. It almost ended recovery for us. I feel like we make steps toward progress and then once a month we get pushed a mile back because of my anxiety and fear when he goes to that office. I don't feel like trust can be reestablished with the consistent, monthly breakdowns I have when he goes to where she is. I cannot heal like this. Should he leave his job? What is your opinion or advice for us?

Still at his job

My husband is still working with his AP. Each trip he takes is getting harder to handle. After this last trip, I drew the boundary that I can't do this again. He doesn't know what do to and I don't want him to resent me if he quits his job. Will I ever heal this way with the continued work trips every 6wks? I haven't made much progress toward healing in the last 6months (4 total trips to her office out of town).
