Question:

My husband has admitted to being a sex addict after various affairs and use of porn. He confessed to me his last affair last April and there have been many other confessions throughout this year. He says he wants to heal from his addiction and he has been working diligently on his recovery. He has been part of Hope for healing, counseling sessions; he is also in the process of joining SAA and has also disclosed his addiction to close friends and pastors. We've had several difficult and painful conversations but I am happy that we can have them. He seems sincerely broken, repentant and willing to be set free. I have peace in my heart most days but at times I still struggle with my thoughts. Not only do I imagine that he is with another women but these thoughts lead my mind to think about divorce; which is definitely not what I want. Is this normal? How can I help myself through these thoughts?  Is it healthy to share them with my husband when I have them?
