I think the materials are excellent. Being on my 2nd marriage and 10 therapists deep allows me to comment. Unfortunately I was the unfaithful! So I had something else to learn. The materials cover so well so much of what I’ve seen and heard in the past and include new ways at looking at marriage. I have a request regarding something that I think should be removed from EMS Online, the concept “God created marriage to make us miserable.” God gave us freewill and choice...but his “intention” was to not make us miserable. The mental gymnastics to even consider something like that is between way too difficult to understand for this group or just plain wrong. It promotes something that isn’t based in scripture and could promote a religious philosophy that is consistent with some of the difficulties some of the dwindling religions we are now witnessing.
