Question:

My husband is a sex addict & is attending SAA. He just got his 6 month chip. The location that host his SAA meetings is beginning to host SLAA meetings soon. He is planning to attend both meetings which is fine with me but why would this trigger me so much when he said he wanted to attend the new meeting also. He has told me that he had fallen in love with his affair partner but I think it was actually limerance. Does it matter if he says it was love & I say it was limerance? Should this be an issue to deal with? I know SLAA deals with not only sex but also love addiction. Could it be me not wanting to accept that he feels he loved both of us. It's 4 a.m. & I woke up because I had a nightmare that the affair partner was strangling me to death. This isn't the first nightmare. Usually it's prostitutes which includes the affair partner, that are attacking me. He hasn't seen or talked to the affair partner since D-day which will be a year ago Sept 18th. I feel crazy when this happens.
