Question:

Hi Rick, My husband had a vasectomy about 5 months ago. However, on top of everything else going on (infidelity issues) we got pregnant around Thanksgiving, and miscarried shortly after. Since then, understandably, he and I have been nervous if not all but put off to be intimate until we understand exactly how and what happened. However, it's now been over two months with no attempts at intimacy. I took the step and bought him condoms as a gesture toward becoming close again. However, he has made no effort to be intimate with me. This morning I asked him if he ever felt that desire, and he answered (reluctantly) "sometimes" but it was very unconvincing. Now, especially because of the infidelity, I am feeling even MORE rejected and unwanted. He was the unfaithful partner, so why am I the one pursuing him? And why isn't he responding? Is this normal? Why doesn't my husband want to be intimate with me?! What can I do, if anything?
