My spouse tells me that he has no feelings left for the AP, that they went away when I told him I wanted a divorce. He was in an emotional affair but does not know for how long it went on. It was a couple of months at least. How can I be sure that the feelings are gone? I find it hard to believe that he was talking in love with her and then was able to switch it off completely. I'm having a hard time even wanting to move forward with him because i'm afraid the feelings are still there and don't know what would happen if he were to run into her somewhere.
