Question:

I’m the betrayed wife and my husband had two one night stands and a two year affair. We are one year from D-Day and doing remarkably well. Our marriage is so much better. We’ve been married almost 20 years. We did the EMSO program and I did HH. I’m currently seeing a counselor to help with the PTSD images. The problem is my husband breaks a big boundary rule every 2 or 3 weeks by staying out late and drinking with his buddies. I know where he is, due to an app on my phone, and I generally like his buddies. But staying out late and drinking is a huge trigger for me as that is what he was doing with his AP for two years. He was at her house instead of his buddies house like he told me. (I didn’t have the phone app then of course.) The AP has moved out of town thankfully. He says he understands the boundary and won’t do it again, but he does. What advice do you have for us?
