Question:

Hello, my husband fathered a child with his ap. The child is 1.5 months old. MY sons are 3 and 6 years old. I hate that my husband wants to introduce that illegitimate child to my boys as soon as possible. But I can't stop things apparently. So how soon is it ok for them to meet? How do I answer questions about why he's their brother and not my son? I don't know how to act in front of my kids so they are affected as minimally as possible by the pathetic, weak, and disgusting actions done by their father.

New brother from affair

In my opinion, as a betrayed spouse, this wife does not need to take on that responsibility. It belongs to the cheating spouse to make the explanations as consequence of his bad judgement. The betrayed spouse has enough to deal with regarding her recovery and keeping her own children safe.

Yes, I realize that none of the husband's actions are this little one's fault....the children are the innocent victims of adults' actions. Regardless if the marriage survives, the husband has to take on this responsibility.

What type of affair was it?
