Question:

We're 6 months out from D-Day and half way through EMS Online. I attended Hope Rising and it was so much help. I am starting to forgive my husband but there's some things I can't get past. My husband has sex and porn addiction along with alcohol issues. On top of all that, he has issues with the Madonna/Whore complex. He has been clean for 6 months in all, quit cold turkey! He is really standing up and doing great on all that I am asking of him to include attending counseling on a weekly basis and attending support groups and such. My husband was withholding sex from me for several years. I'm trying not to give into hysterical bonding but I miss sex. I'm not ready to resume physical relations as the intrusive thoughts are too much but I know being intimate has to start at some point if we stay together. Having all of these issues, how probable it is that he can stop cheating and have a normal sex life? I realize there are no guarantee but I'm really concerned.
