Question:

Rick we are 3 and a half years from Dday 1, 2 years from Dday 2 and a couple of months from a new detail of yet another sexual encounter he did not divulge in the "ground zero" part of EMSO. We have taken EMS twice, I have taken Harboring Hope and my husband (the unfaithful) has taken Hope for Healing. He has trickle truthed me for the whole time. After all this time, I still cannot seem to feel love for my husband. He is trying as much as he is capable of to repair this marriage, but I am still very guarded and do not trust him and I can't let myself become vulnerable again. I am in Celebrate Recovery to try to deal with my own character flaws. This lack of feeling for my husband is really bothering me and I fear that I may not again develop the loving feelings I once had for him. Is this normal? Our marriage has lasted for 38 years, but I feel like he divorced me the first time he had sex with the coworker back in the 90's and then again with the most recent affair with her and the new revelation of another woman he was with for a sexual encounter. I appreciate your insight.
