Question:

My husband had an affair with someone he was mentoring, who is 18 years, his junior. They worked closely together and she started confiding in him beyond that of the normal mentor/mentee relationship and developed a very close emotional bond in large part due to extended time spent together talking and confiding in one another. When this relationship turned romantic he was no longer her direct supervisor and at every stage, he checked in with her regarding her interest and her comfort of which she was complicit and willing. Would this still be considered authority rape? If so, where does one go from there?
