Question:

On our first D-Day she blamed me, stating it was because of how I treated her, talked to her, that she thought I didn't love her, and so its my fault she sought someone else. I took the blame then and admitted to being a failure of a husband. She tells me for months now that she is wrong and it was all her fault not mine. Several week ago in conversation she slipped out "If you hadn't made me feel this way...". Just a gut feeling I have though she corrected and withdrew her statement I feel like she still blames me, and something in me feels like I’m responsible for keeping my wife happy and since I failed it is my fault I drove her to this choice because I didn't do my job as a good husband. I know I should not blame myself but I do if that makes sense.
