Question:

I discovered 4 months ago that my husband was having an affair with his coworker. It was emotional and sexual in nature. I feel a lot of anxiety and distrust about anything work related and how it still connects them, even though he says the affair is over. He is the owner of the company so quitting really is not an option. He also can not fire her legally because she could sue for sexual harassment. I feel powerless. I feel like it’s sending an alcoholic to work every day in a liquor store. I fear it is only a matter of time before he will relapse with her. How can we make progress and how can I trust him? How do I not feel sick and anxious every time he does anything work related? What is the best way to handle this situation?
