Question:

I found messages of my husband flirting on dating sites and asking for pictures of a woman's body in 2017. I left, we got back together awhile after. I was devastated, but thought he had learned. We got married Oct 2020. We buried my grandma two weeks before then. He traveled for work right before the funeral. A woman approached him, gave him her number. He texted her, messages were bland besides that first text from him at 3am. I found out upon returning from our honeymoon. I was devastated and hurt that he would do such a thing, especially so close to our wedding. We went to some counseling, I signed up for Harboring Hope, he is in Hope for Healing. He took his course, I saw some real growth. As soon as his course ended, he was back to being distant. We went over our course work again together, finished that beginning of this January. He was away for work mid January, and texted an ex around 3am, was bland and boring again. Said he was afraid to tell me, because he feels he can't be vulnerable, feels I don't allow him to have any more female friends. I don't agree, we both have female friends that I am not threatened by. He signed us up for EMSO, starting next week. Not upset about the conversation, it's this lie and repeated pattern that's damaging. Anxiety is gripping me again. Any suggestions on how to move forward?
