Question: 

Previously, our counselor said that my unfaithful mate is still holding on to his affair partner because it is "forbidden love". Can you comment on the “forbidden love” concept and how to get over this? It’s been 3 years since he was emotionally unfaithful to me with a married woman and he still has a longing and desire to be with her despite being involved in AR, therapy, and 12 steps.
