Question:

My betrayed husband says that he forgives me "vertically" (as God does) but not "horizontally" as in being in relationship with me. Yet we continue to talk, work on healing, make love, and do life together. If I continue to have sex with him under these conditions, am I simply allowing him to use me? He says he loves me, he finds me desirable, but if he has not recommitted to our marriage, how is lovemaking under these conditions any different than the cheap sex of my affairs?
