Question:

We are 15 months out from D-Day but only 5 months from the last time he saw the AP. My husband of 26 years AP was in his band and church choir. After discovery he made a lot of promises if I would give him a second chance. He has continued to break his promises. The other day a male friend of ours came over after dinner out of the blue he ask my permission if he and my husband could jam together. I felt blindsided and betrayed all over again. I was in a no win situation I'm not his boss or his mother and why now ask my permission no matter what I said there would be anger and resentment. I waited for my husband to answer, he said nothing, knowing it was a huge trigger for me. I question his commitment. What are your thoughts?
