Question:

We are nine months from D-Day and we have attended the EMS Weekend, however, I don’t feel that it was successful for us. That was probably my fault. I didn't see the empathy I needed to see and I became very frustrated with my husband. I tried getting him to understand, and stopped I participating. He says he's sorry a lot, and says he has little faith in counseling, programs, or books to help us. He finally agreed to go to a counselor but its with Kaiser so it's like a month and a half away. My husband still confesses to have feelings for the affair partner. He refuses to meet with anyone at the church. He doesn't want to go to an affair recovery counselor because he doesn't want to spend the money. And yet I keep hearing. "I love you, and I don't want to give up”. Please help.
