Question: 

Rick, I just heard you say online that it takes double the amount of time the affair lasted to be healed if you were betrayed; were you exaggerating to make a point?! That means it will take 10 years to heal. We've heard testimonies of people being healed after affairs even longer than ours, but didn't hear that it took that long. I assumed the time frame of 18-24 months (generally speaking) as more the case. Hearing what you said makes us both so hopeless. Can you elaborate?
