Question:

It's only been 10 weeks since the most recent discovery, forcefully after a failed polygraph. My husband says he has forgiven himself, doesn't really think he needs therapy any more because he knows why he did it, how to not put himself in that situation again, and that he never wants to be that person again. However, he said all these things to me before he relapsed too. Shortly after I found out the truth I said we needed to move, he needed to quit his job, and he agreed so we are in the process of doing that. He quit all the activities he used to do to make me feel safer. He doesn't go into the office at all anymore. In general he is doing everything he can to make me feel safer. However, I'm flooded with awful videos of what I imagine he did with her, I am fearful he is still lying to me and is possibly messaging her. Having access to his devices is pointless because he can hide it so well I'll never find it if he is. Recently he told me that because I often flood after we go out to do something for fun it's making him not want to go out to do anything with me. I desperately want to make him confront her with me. Not that I expect the truth to come out but I want them both to face me and I hope it will break any remaining fantasy. I also want her husband to know so maybe she will be forced to face her consequences too. I need help as I feel so much and don't know what to do with it and if I'm crazy to be trying to trust him.
