Relapse Prevention

Michael and I just had week 10 in our EMS online (Sabine's group). He wants to know if there are some other relapse prevention tools (other than what's listed in the workbook and video) that you can suggest? This was obviously a tough one for us...knowing the possibility of relapse when, right now, it's the furthest thought from your mind. Any additional suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Question

Submitted by Joni_AR for anonymous Around week 3 we read the interview between Rick and the pastor. In 2 different sections you talked about the difference between men and women having affairs. It reads, “when a women has an affair, typically she has to have completely fallen out of love with her mate. Her heart has to have already disconnected before she will reconnect in another place.” Another part in the interview it reads, “When women have affairs, they are more likely to feel they are done with the marriage. Often the women will spend years complaining about the lack of connection and the man will refuse to respond…..Women tend to disconnect from the marriage before they reconnect in an affair.” Knowing that, how do you then even start the process of recovery when I’m not in love, I’m disconnected and done with my marriage? We are taking the EMS online and nothing seems to be clicking. Thanks

What type of affair was it?
