What We Learned at EMS Weekend

Healing after infidelity is not an option, but a necessity. The real question is, where do you find the right kind of help, from those who have been there? Each week our office is flooded with calls and emails regarding our EMS Weekend retreat and it's cousin EMS Online and whether they're the right course of action when hurting and uncertain about their marriage’s future. I thought it would be a great idea to hear lessons learned from a couple who participated in one of the EMS Weekends.

We want to give hope when it seems hopeless. Finding safety, acceptance, and connection with others is essential on the pathway to recovery. Infidelity often creates isolation where you feel cut off from the world. Finding support from others walking through the same pain is invaluable. One of the most destructive things you can do is remain stuck. I hope you’ll consider taking action for your own recovery.  Learn more about EMS Weekend.

Thank you!

When I listened to this it brought back many EMS weekend memories ( we were there Mother's Day weekend 2013.) Thank you for bringing it all back around and reminding me of why we are doing this work. Thank you Lord for connecting me to others! God bless the two of you and thank you for sharing your story.
