Question

Rick, thank you for all you & your team does. I've attended EMS weekend, read the blogs, and watched the videos. I am the unfaithful, after 20+ years of faithful marriage. I've kept to my vows and persevered. Yet, I faltered and take full responsibility for my actions. Prior to the affair, I had been rejected and felt unwanted by my spouse for so long, but I tolerated it without any mention of divorce. If we pull the veil back, I was betrayed by my spouse in a very strong emotional and sexual way due to the neglect. I'm not making excuses for my actions. But expressing what my spouse and I have agreed upon. Please address with utmost sensitivity the healing for the "betrayed" unfaithful.
