Question:

Dear Leslie & John, When my husband was unfaithful, he was very unloving and at times emotionally abusive. On discovery day, he claimed he loved me and hated his affair partner. It's been two years, but I still can't understand how quickly he switched up his emotions. Hating me and loving her, to loving me and hating her. How do I know for sure that he loves me and I'm not just the one he's left with? The second choice? I feel as if I was the easiest option and had we not been married and had she not just had a baby with her partner, they would be together. I have a hard time feeling chosen and wanted by him. He tells me that he cannot explain, just that it is how he says it is. --Thank you. In love and respect
