At the EMS Weekend I found out my husband is love avoidant. He says he no longer feels shame or will not allow it. He was abandoned by his mother and raised in the state system as a child. Can you please help explain how abandonment or abuse as a child affects their psyche and shame core as a adult? How does this transpire in relationships? My mate stonewalls or gets angry, when he feels he has been one upped, about moral standards.
