Question:

I recently went attended the EMS Weekend with a small group of betrayed husbands and unfaithful wives. The power of the small group and the shared traumatic experience was not one that I will forget very easily. Myself and all of the husbands have bonded in a very short period of time. The wives seemed to have bonded also, but two women seem to have broken off on their own and in their private discussions seem to be reinforcing the fantasy of the affair and that they have found their soul mate outside of the marriage. I know group dynamics are very important during the recovery process, the shared experience, and group accountability. What are your thoughts on this separate dynamic from the group and how it might influence recovery?
