Why is "affair partner" the phrase we are encouraged to use in this course? I'm having a hard time saying that phrase because "partner" feels like there is an ongoing relationship there, that it keeps him connected to her. Do you have alternate phrases you can suggest if that phrase feels uncomfortable?
