Question:

I got a fortune cookie tonight that read “Fear and Desire are two sides of the same coin” and it really triggered me. This month makes 2 years since D-Day, we’ve done ALOT of work including EMS weekend and our marriage is at a strong place than ever. Through our work my husband has seen how much fear drive him to stay in the affair. My issue is still in the thinking that desire got him into it. I still saddens me and scares me that he could so easily desire a stranger. Could it be that fear was behind it from the beginning but he thought it was desire? If so how important to our recovery and future is that he and I, for that matter, sees it that way?
