Question:

I have decided not to reconcile with my husband after 16 years of marriage and friendship. We are still undergoing the healing process and grieving our lost relationship. He is willing to make positive changes in his life which helps us to keep a polite interaction, and our goal is to develop a healthy parenting relationship. Since we are not reconciling or healing the marriage and our friendship, trust and basic human respect has been damaged by his affair, emotional abuse and lies, I think we should have some kind of closure on all this. How can we approach and achieve closure and develop a new healthy parenting relationship?
