Question:

It’s been 145 days since I discovered my husband’s affair. We are attempting to reconcile and talk daily for 20-30 minutes about the infidelity and our old marriage. He keeps saying he meant to have the affair and wanted it to happen. When asked if he knew that it would hurt me if I found out, he said yes, though he didn’t know how badly I would hurt. So when I told him I felt he deliberately and intentionally hurt me, he disagreed. I don’t understand why he doesn’t see the logic. How do I accept that his actions were willful and done without any regard of my feelings? If I’m to accept that, how am I supposed to let that go?
