Question:

My wife and I are 8 months from D-Day. We have done much positive work e.g. bootcamp, books, recovery library. However my wife is still my accountability partner. This gives her a sense of safety. For me the betrayer, it seems that I just continuously hurt her or keep the wounds open as I share Intrusive Thoughts, Flashbacks, even when I have this Male recognition impulse well under control of the 3 second lingering boundary. It seems we are trying for perfection and not just "a good enough approach." It seems that this is preventing "letting go and moving forward." Hope for Healing is sold out. What can we do in the next month to not make things worse? Are there other ways to find an accountability partner or group? I desire to do whatever it takes. My wife is precious and I regret what my thought life and porn has done.
