Question:

D-Day was 10 months ago and my husband continues to work with the affair partner until his retirement in 15 months. There is continued contact at least twice a week as my husband is the mentor to the affair partner who has just assumed the position that my husband has vacated. We have completed EMSO, HH and H4H. The affair partner is actively seeking connection through meetings at work, letters, texts and delivering snacks in the last month. My husband’s response is avoidance and he is stuck at his job unless he divulges his affair which will cost both of them their jobs. What actions would you recommend my husband take to stop contact and what actions do you recommend for me if he is unable to make his commitment to me clear?
