Question:

My husband, with a vasectomy years ago, had unprotected sex the entire time. His affair partner was half his age and did not evidently engage in outside relationships till later in the affair, acquiring a boyfriend along with the affair the last year before discovery. I have acquired an std from all of this and anytime it flares up I get very angry. I feel like I have forgiven my husband and am working on reconciliation; we are doing fairly well. But the std seems to make me feel dirty, disgusted and angry when it flares up. How can I let go of these feelings as this will be a constant reminder the rest of my life?
