Question
My unfaithful spouse never fully recovered from being betrayed in a past relationship. It has been three years now and he is finally realizing it. He is also realizing that not being fully recovered is what led him to be vulnerable to his year long limerent affair. He has currently left home to “find himself” and work through this realization. I am left now again and not sure what to do. I don’t have a timeline or any assurance of his coming home. How do I as the standing spouse process this and what determines how long I wait for his decision?
