My husband had a long term affair and was caught. After almost 10 months, he still shows little remorse and no empathy. I do not recognize the person he is at all and cannot understand why after all the grace I have offered and chance at reconciliation he still shows no motivation to do the work. I have heard that living long term in sexual sin can actually change your brain and your ability to empathize and such. Do you believe this to be true and how long is the longest that you have seen someone stay in their fog?
