Question:

I discovered my wife's affair four years ago. I have no disclosure other than what pieces I've figured out. She claims it never became sexual, but I have some very strong reasons to doubt it. She refuses to take a polygraph so far. We tried counseling early on, not knowing any better. Didn't help at all in my opinion. I have been doing some EMDR as I'm still struggling a lot. I’m in Harboring Hope, but it's nearly over. My wife refuses to do anything that has to due with AR or pretty much anything else. I myself have watched every video blog of Samuel's at least once, many more than once. I've also listened to “Not Just Friends”, “How to help your Spouse Heal after an Affair”, and bought the hard copies for my wife. She refuses to read them. She won't watch the videos. From the beginning she has stated she's not sure she wants to stay married. We do have some good days though. I believe near 100% we could get through this if she'd get on board. I've have learned that I have many issues...like all 4 Horseman, that need to be addressed. I want to. I would like her on board. She follows Mort Fertel and I think she'd do his program, but I'm concerned about his thoughts on repairing after an affair...sounds like a don't talk about it, bury it plan. Do you see this as anything is better than nothing? What do you know or how do you feel about this program?
