Question:

In the General Forums, I have read where the betrayed spouse will admit their wayward spouse has been working on their own healing, learning to understand why they did what they did, and has shown remorse. Then in the same post, the betrayed spouse will write that the hurt caused by their wayward spouse is compounded because their wayward spouse isn’t helping them heal. What does the hurt spouse mean when they say they need their wayward spouse to help them heal to move forward?
